On Wednesday, September 19, there will be an opportunity for families to come together for dinner and a time of discussion about the expectations of the EASY (Emmaus After School for Youth) program. Discussion will be in English and in Spanish. At least one parent must attend the meeting in order for the kids to be enrolled in the program.
Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.; the parent meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. There will be a short movie for the kids.
EASY will meet Monday through Thursday from 2:45 to 5:30 p.m. The program will provide homework help and enrichment in math, reading, language and science for kids in K-5. Did you know that Emmaus has a computer lab and a well-stocked library? They are wonderful assets to the EASY program.
This year there will be a separate program for middle school kids. The middle school group will have their own space in which to meet. The hours will coincide with those of EASY.
