“We are putting no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry.” — 2 Corinthians 6:3
The city of Racine, however, has other plans.
If you’re driving to church this weekend, be aware that the north entrance to our alleyway and parking is under construction. You can still enter from the south, or park on Summit Avenue or Yout Street. (As yet, we have not heard whether or when repair of the alley itself may occur.)
As for navigating the torn-up streets elsewhere around town, perhaps it is best to meditate on St. Paul’s words to the Romans:
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.” –Romans 8:18-21
