Haiti Relief Packing at State Fair

Packing relief boxes for Pakistan in 2010

Join us Thursday evening, October 13 as we journey to State Fair Park to prepare meals for the kids of Haiti.  That evening, we will take part in the four-day event, helping toward the goal of packing one million meals.

Dehydrated foods are measured and poured into packets then sealed and placed on palettes.  There is a job for everyone.  Even preschool kids can participate.

A brown bag supper will be provided prior to departure.  The buses will leave Emmaus at 5:00 p.m.  We will pack food from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Donations are welcome to cover the cost of the supplies: $20 per person.  EASY and Wednesday Night kids are looking forward to serving those in need.  In the spring of 2010 after the devastating earthquake in Japan, they responded with a Lenten donation to the ELCA disaster Relief Fund.

When did you see me hungry and feed me?  Look for the sign-up poster and donation envelopes.
